Prior to setting up their own battery consulting company, they worked as a Chief Engineer where they were leading high voltage battery system engineering and manufacturing projects for application in different target sectors.

✔Has experience in developing materials for Li_x001E_ion cells, bipolar lead acid batteries and PEM fuel cells.

Expert has 10 years’ experience in the field of battery development and energy technology. They are currently a senior scientist at a company producing solid oxide fuel cells.
✔Expert is responsible for simplifying and optimising production processes of components, for example, improving the power densities and extending the fuel cell’s lifetime.
✔Expert was the R&D manager in the field of battery development at EWE-Research Centre for Energy Technology in Oldenburg, aimed to improve the energy density and rate capability of Lithium-ion batteries with a focus on the investigation of conducting polymers as binder systems and the analysis of electrode-processing parameters on the battery performance.
✔They have also worked on the development of a new vanadium/air redox flow battery and the improvement of conventional VRF systems.
✔Expert was a Postdoctoral Researcher with a research focus lies on the development of all-solid-state batteries with emphasis on the investigation and processing of Li/Na-ion conducting electrolytes.
This expert has a technical background in Mechanical Engineering with a Master’ Degree in Electronic components for Electric vehicles. Has been involved in training application engineer teams and leading designs and projects with cross-functional teams.
