✔ Prior to this, the Expert has gained more than thirty years’ experience in the energy sector. With a PhD in engineering he has worked across the value chain, from R&D through to sales and marketing, and has held a broad range of senior business leadership positions in technology development, marketing and commercialisation.

-Expert has 30 years’ experience with international Oil Majors and Oilfield Services Companies, including 21 years’ experience in Senior Petrophysicist roles in both the exploration and production of hydrocarbons.
-This Expert has been involved in discoveries ranging from multi Trillion Cubic Feet (Tcf) gas to Million Barrels (MMBls) oil in South America, to the development of rich Gulf of Mexico (GoM) and heavy oil reservoirs, both in clastics and carbonates. Over the past few years, this Expert has been responsible for applying Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to economics and petrophysics.
Key Achievements:
✔ Expert has been a part of exploration projects in Peru, Brazil and Guyana –
part of a team responsible for: the discovery of commercial accumulations in the Santos basin; increased production in Peru assets. Expert was aso the petrophysicist in charge of active projects in the GoM, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Alaska and North/South America.
✔ Expert was responsible for supporting all aspects of reservoir management, monitoring, simulation and reserves certification and has successfully implemented novel techniques for integrated Core-Log pay estimations as well as implementing the first deviated borehole stability calculations.
✔ Expert was responsible for the testing and implementation of new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) techniques and integration of NMR with conventional logs, as well as implementing new acoustic interpretation methods, particularly Stoneley wave applications. Provided training in-house and to clients for these technologies. Interpreter of US Midcontinent logs for clients – part of teams that performed field studies from large (800+ wells) to small projects.

Expert has over 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, having worked at a major oil and gas company. Expert is knowledgeable in commercial and business development in the global gas business – with deep knowledge of Russia, the European gas market, and LNG. Expert has held senior positions for over 15 years.

✔ Integrated commercial/technical LNG and GTL project development, including development of project concepts with lower total cost than the rest of the industry.
✔ Forecasting of LNG market development, leveraging unique insight and practical experience forecasting the global LNG, European gas and European power markets.
✔ Development of gas trading systems and capabilities for companies previously only operating as suppliers/marketers.
✔ Responsible for opportunity identification, negotiation of terms and leading project teams for execution of major oil and gas projects in Russia.

✔ Also an advisor to the downstream energy sector involved in business restructuring, new market entries, and mergers and acquisitions internationally. Previously responsible for implementing a restructuring programme and the entry in new market segments (international wholesale and technical solutions) before managing a merger with a competitor.
✔ Previously, this Expert also held several other positions with a leading multinational oil and gas company, and has a proven record of advising in the areas of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Europe, as well as African oil markets.
This Expert has also directed joint venture creation, divestitures, and restructuring projects.
