There is no doubt that there are great opportunities ahead for industry operators, as well as those involved in the construction and transportation sectors. Governments are now preparing for renewable hydrogen’s takeover of fossil fuels and fossil feedstock.

Ulf Eriksen is leading Statkraft’s hydrogen team since 2019. The department is responsible for building up Statkraft’s position within renewable hydrogen, with main focus on applications within industry and heavy-duty transportation. The team works with stakeholders and players across the industry to build value chains for hydrogen and realise production of hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels to the customers.
Previously, Ulf was in charge of various parts of the customer and trading business in Statkraft for 20 years. During this period, he was responsible for starting and building up customer business in Statkraft with teams in Oslo, Trondheim, Stockholm, London and Dusseldorf. The main products were power, fuels, power-related weather risk, green certificates and carbon credits.
Ulf has a Master degree in Science of Business and 20 years of leadership experience in various roles.
